Elisabeth Pihusch (*2006) is an emerging German violinist whose artistry is characterised by stylistic versatility, expressive musicianship, and a profound dedication to chamber music. She has established herself at an early age as both a soloist and chamber musician, with concert engagements taking her to renowned venues and festivals throughout Germany, Austria, Italy, Belgium, and Switzerland.

As a soloist, she has collaborated with ensembles and orchestras including the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, the Salzburg Chamber Soloists, the Nola Youth Chamber Orchestra, and the Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic Orchestra. A particular highlight was her 2024 concert tour of Italy in cooperation with the International Mozarteum Foundation, during which she performed on Mozart’s original concert violin by Pietro Antonio Dalla Costa (Treviso, 1764).

At the age of twelve, Elisabeth Pihusch was admitted as a junior student to the class of Michaela Girardi at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. Shortly thereafter, she was awarded a scholarship by the gifted education program of the Leopold Mozart Institute. Since 2025, she has been studying at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre in the class of Prof. Tanja Becker-Bender. As a prizewinner of various national and international competitions, she has received numerous awards in recognition of her artistic achievements. Further artistic inspiration came from masterclasses with Zakhar Bron, Ana Chumachenco, Nora Chastain, Ingolf Turban, Ulf Wallin, and Zohrab Tadevosyan.

Chamber music is a further central element of her artistic work. She is a member of the Rising Stars chamber concert series of the Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic Orchestra and of Bella musica, the chamber ensemble of the Mozarteum University Salzburg. In 2026, she participated in the Musethica programme, performing the string sextets by Brahms and Schulhoff alongside Prof. Tanja Becker-Bender and Prof. Avri Levitan.
